Since 1976, fraternity and sorority life has been a vital part of the Winthrop experience, fostering deep, lifelong friendships, philanthropic service and leadership development. With nearly 6,000 Greek alumni and over 200 current students in Greek life, Winthrop is certainly rich in this tradition.
The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life is still in communication with the national organizations for the organizations not yet represented on the timeline. More information will be added to the timeline as it is gathered.
All milestones and achievements have been verified by the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life and the Louise Pettus Archives and Special Collections.
