Multimedia Technology & User Experience
Overview
Artists, business owners, journalists, and even teachers must constantly design experiences
for a diverse population, across a range of disciplines and domains, from business
to education, non-profits to start-ups, or social media to entertainment. This 2-course
package is a contemporary, creative-driven approach to understanding audio & two-dimensional
design, and the ways they come together to become interactive, multimedia experiences.
- Introduction to Web Design students learn how type and image come together through HTML & CSS, to create functional,
impact-driven websites.
- Students who complete Multimedia I will be able to use audio and image, animation and three-dimensional graphics, fusing
them into an engaging digital experience.
- Finally, our User Experience (UX) course exposes students to the fundamentals and principles of interactions and interfaces,
with a focus on efficient navigation principles, information hierarchy, and usability
testing of digital systems.
