Students with a B.S. in Exercise Science have a wide variety of career opportunities based on interest. They can work in community or corporate fitness/wellness, as fitness directors, personal trainers (especially for persons with risk factors for chronic disease), in athletic strength and conditioning, or in cardiac, pulmonary, or cancer rehab. Students can continue on to graduate programs in exercise physiology to go into teaching, research, or clinical applications, or on to allied health programs in physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant, nursing, or medicine.
