What makes Winthrop special to you?   
Returning to Winthrop feels like coming home. It’s where I grew, found my voice, and built relationships that shaped who I am today. Walking back onto campus as a professional, not just an alum, feels like a full-circle moment – one rooted in pride, gratitude, and a deep sense of belonging. 

What do you love about Winthrop? 
I love Winthrop for the sense of community that makes you feel seen and supported from day one. I love the way professors genuinely care, the relationships that last beyond graduation, and the campus that feels both inspiring and familiar. Winthrop is a place where growth is encouraged, voices matter, and memories are made – it’s more than a university, it’s home! 

What is your favorite local restaurant in Rock Hill?    
I enjoy Burgers and Barley and Elk Tavern! 

What is your favorite thing about Rock Hill?
My favorite thing about Rock Hill is how it feels welcoming and familiar while still having that up-and-coming feel. I love the strong sense of community, the slower pace that lets you breathe, and how it’s easy to feel connected – to people, to places, and to memories.

What advice do you have for students during their search process?
Choose fit – look for a campus where you feel comfortable and supported. Visit each campus you are even considering, ask honest questions, and choose the place where you can see yourself growing both in and out of the classroom.

Favorite Food? Anything pasta or Mexican
Favorite Movie or Performer?  I am more into series. I enjoy anything from Selling Sunset to Ozark to 11.22.63. 
What are your hobbies?  Traveling is #1! Reading, enjoying time with family/dogs, and being outside are also favorites!
