WHEREAS, Lurnnel McKetty, by virtue of his position as President of the Council of
Student Leaders, has served as the student representative to the Winthrop University
Board of Trustees during the 2015-16 academic year; and
WHEREAS, he has employed his concern for people, his community spirit, and his experience
as a student leader to ensure that Winthrop University continues its tradition of
outstanding service to students; and
WHEREAS, Ray consistently shared thoughtful advice and counsel with the President
and the Board and devoted himself to the fulfillment of Winthrop University's mission;
THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of Winthrop University recognizes
Lurnnel "Ray" McKetty for his commitment to, support of, and distinguished leadership
in student endeavors at Winthrop University.
