First CBE Degree Offering – Bachelor of Professional Studies

Winthrop’s Bachelor of Professional Studies (BPS) is the first degree to debut as part of the Winthrop Elevate suite of CBE programs. BPS is a degree completion program uniquely designed for adult learners and busy working professionals. Four concentrations are offered: Health Informatics, Organizational Leadership, Organizational Operations, Community and Health Services.

Equips learners with skills that will enable them to navigate complex organizational environments effectively.

  • Inventory, logistics, and quality management

Health Informatics

Builds and strengthens students’ ability to work with health-related data.

Will cover topics like:

  • Accessing public health data sources
  • Managing databases
  • Analyzing and evaluating data in a variety of healthcare settings
  • Creating reports and visualizations to present findings to decision makers
