"My favorite thing about being a Winthrop student is being a part of the diverse nature we have here on our campus. Growing up in a small town, I felt as if I was not able to be my authentic self because I was surrounded by so many narrow-minded individuals. Though I love my hometown, coming to Winthrop has impacted me the most because of the welcoming and accepting environment. To have an office dedicated to ensuring the diverse nature of our campus speaks for itself, but I am truly grateful to serve and be a part of the Winthrop community in this capacity."

WinthropLIFE is a Comprehensive Transition Program (CTP) program. Winthrop is proud to be one of the few colleges nationwide that is able to offer federal and state financial aid to students enrolled in a CTP program.
