Mission Statement

The Women's Studies Program at Winthrop University seeks: 

1. to provide a rigorous, interdisciplinary minor program to undergraduate students at Winthrop University;
2. to promote women's studies in the Winthrop University and Rock Hill communities, the state of South Carolina, the nation and the world; 
3. to provide opportunities for interested faculty members and students to collaborate and interact
