The Legal Studies minor provides students with a multidisciplinary approach to questions of law, compliance, and justice. The program encourages and exploration of law and its influence on society, and challenges students to ready themselves for a just and independent role in the shared governance of democratic communities.
Our program helps build awareness of law and the justice system while developing the key skills required for understanding and operating within a legal system. These include problem-solving, logical reasoning, analytic reading and writing, speaking and listening skills, and promoting justice in all walks of life.
