What makes Winthrop special to you?
Winthrop has so much to offer students. We have a wide variety of majors/minors to
choose from; multiple collegiate sport programs; a large slate of student organizations
to join; and so much more.
What advice do you have for students during their search process?
Take your time and do your homework. Visit a variety of schools to determine which
is the right fit for you. Not every school is for everyone. You need to decide for
yourself where you need to be to succeed. Ask questions when you visit and keep a
journal of your findings. Review your visits, reconnect with your favorite schools,
and make an informed decision.
Favorite local restaurant in Rock Hill?
I have two favorite local restaurants - Burgers and Barley, located right across from
the campus, and Nishi G’s.
