Students who pursue the Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences are prepared for entry-level careers in public health, wellness, community nutrition, food service management, and health-related fields. The degree also provides strong preparation for graduate study or application to professional programs within the allied health professions.

The BS in Health Sciences offers a flexible, interdisciplinary foundation in the biological, psychological, and social aspects of health. Students tailor their studies through a required minor and applied experiences.
Ours is the only nutrition program in North and South Carolina with a "live" simulator.
Our students have an 80 percent acceptance rate into internships through DICAS on first application, with yearly employer requests for referrals.
