Jessica Harby joined the ABC Institute Team with a set of dynamic and versatile experiences in the arts, education, and nonprofit management. After earning her BFA from Tulane University, Jessica worked across the country in theater design, construction, and stage management. She transitioned from backstage into theater administration, education, events, and fundraising. Guided by her interest in teaching, she returned to school for her MA in Education from Kean University, and in the years that followed, she developed her love of teaching and studying art and artists in support of the core subjects in her classroom. She also applied her aptitude for educational technology through the design and delivery of professional development for fellow educators. As a nonprofit Volunteer Administrator, Jessica trained youth, adult, and senior volunteers for local and national organizations.
In her personal time, Jessica enjoys gardening, sketching, DIY projects, visiting parks and nature trails, and attending local social and volunteer events. She, her husband, and their family dog, originally from New Jersey, are grateful for their adopted community in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Jessica is excited to share her enthusiasm for creativity and collaboration with the ABC Network, contributing to its legacy of leadership in arts-rich education.
