• The space offers technology that can be checked out by students or staff, and also some technology that is used only in the CreatorSpace. Most items can be checked out for one week at a time, to students and faculty with a valid Winthrop ID.
• Please see the lab monitor in Rutledge G-26 to reserve/sign out equipment.
• All reservations/equipment checkouts will be made on the new Cheqroom Inventory system including: Laser Cutter, 3D printer and Whisper Booth.  
• The maximum reservation time for the WhisperBooth is two hours. The maximum reservation time for the Laser cutter is three hours. The maximum time for the 3D printers is 24 hours. All other equipment can be reserved as needed.

*Please note that no equipment will be checked out during any break and any equipment checked out during finals MUST have faculty approval.

Any item that is not returned after one week will incur a late fee of $5.00 per item, per day.  All equipment is checked out through Cheqroom, and students sign a PDF document agreeing that they are responsible for caring for and returning the equipment. Any student who owes a late fee is not allowed to check out equipment until the late fee has been paid.  All late fees will be paid in Marketplace.

*A notification of any unreturned equipment will be sent to financial services and the cost of the equiment will be added to your student account.

• Due to increase demand, please visit the CreatorSpace lab monitor or e-mail creatorspace@mailbox.winthrop.edu to reserve your time. In the e-mail list full name, Winthrop e-mail, date, time and duration needed (up to 3 hours). 
• Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive an e-mail confirmation. Please reserve enough time for printing and cleaning up. You must stay with your project the entire time.

Items printed on the large format printer or 3D printers must be paid prior to pick up in  Marketplace. The CreatorSpace lab assistants can assist with this process in The CreatorSpace.
