Emily Hayes

After graduation, I worked for 7 years at Carowinds in various Entertainment roles. From a monster at Scarowinds, an elf at Winterfest, and many years as a stage manager/supervisor, to the Area Supervisor over Shows (and Scarowinds). I also worked freelance as an actor coordinator and lighting designer for various shows and events in the Carolinas to stay connected to within the community. After feeling homesick for my “second home”, I decided to return to Winthrop in early 2024 as an Admissions Counselor for incoming Freshmen in the SC Lowcountry area in hopes of inspiring the incoming generations of creatives and dreamers.
