Luke Alex Atkinson

Atkinson grew up on Grand Manan Island in New Brunswick, Canada. He holds a BFA from Winthrop University and an MFA in Painting from Louisiana State University. He also studied at the New York Academy of Art, Art Students League of New York, Grand Central Atelier, and Russian Academy of Arts. He is based in Brooklyn, NY.

 

Atkinson recently held a solo show at The Paddocks (Volos, Greece) and Rat Trap (Bogotá), and was featured in shows at Spring Break Art Fair (NYC), the Ogden Museum (New Orleans), Kyan (Athens, Greece), Homme (DC), Susan Eley Fine Art (NYC), Edit Gallery (Cyprus), Auxier Kline (NYC), and 68 Jay Street (Brooklyn).
