LEGAL COMMITTEE

2009 Conference Information is Forthcoming


The Legal Committee deals with issues that face member nations dealing with any and all acts of illegal action that may occur on their soil, airspace, and/or waterways.  This committee holds the responsibility of hearing the resolutions, debating the legality of the claims and voting on the legal action to be taken.

FROM: Iraq                                                                                                                    SUBJECT: US Withdrawal of military forces

1 Noting with satisfaction that elections were successfully held in 2005;
2
3 Bearing in mind the current insurgency in Iraq;
4
5 Encouraged that an able military and police force has been trained;
6
7 Believing that the insurgency would disband with American withdrawal;
8
9 Grieved that 177,784 innocent Iraqi citizens hae been killed and that 320,011 innocent Iraqi citizens have been wounded in the current 10 United States occupation of our sovereign nation;
11
12 Recalling the horrific treatment of our citizens in American-run prisons;
13
14 Noting further the overall unrest and mistreatment sustained by our sovereign nation since the U.S. occupation
.

Calls For:

1. The US Armed forces to start withdrawing from our sovereign nation,

2. Condemnation of the inhumane treatment of Iraqi citizens by United Forces,

3. A time table for the gradual withdrawal of United States Armed Forces from our sovereign nation,

4. Declaration that Iraq has the ability to effectively control and defend the people of our nation,

5. Continued financial aid for reconstruction, growth and the continued development of our military and police forces,

6. Hope that, with the withdrawal of United States forces, a sense of peace and stability will be obtained.
