JUDGES 2009 Conference Information is Forthcoming
Each year, Winthrop faculty
members are asked to lend their professional knowledge of foreign affairs and
sometimes personal knowledge of foreign countries to the judging of debate
participants. Members of the Winthrop faculty that are interested in
learning more about this exciting experience, please click on one of the
following for a schedule and
information

debating skills plus how well they assist their high school delegation. 1. _______________ Notes
to judges - Please see that at least one of the judges is present in each
committee at all times. It is also
a good idea to ask the committee chair for his or her evaluation of high school
students in the committee. Dr. Van
Aller will be circulating between committees and will give you his input on
college delegates. The Judges' meeting
to decide on winners will be around
12:00 noon on Friday in Room 206 Tillman. No
students should be selected for more than one individual award. |
