International
Ambassador Scholarship
The
International Center provides a limited number of
scholarships to selected undergraduate students that wish to
serve as International Center Ambassadors. These
Ambassadors volunteer to help promote the goals of the
International Center, support international students at
Winthrop University and promote international understanding
among local students and the broader community.
Scholarships will be awarded by the International Center
Scholarship Committee. The scholarship applies during the
Fall and Spring semesters (typically not during the summer
sessions). During the Fall and Spring semesters recipients
would receive $250 per semester plus pay in-state tuition.
The total value of the scholarship is estimated at $10,000 per
academic year.

more than 20 hours per week during the semesters and pays approximately $6 per
hour. On campus employment can not be considered when meeting the requirement
for evidence of financial support.
