Family Day Registration is now open. Families can register by clicking HERE. Registration will close Friday, September 16, 2016. Please note the deadline to cancel and receive a refund is Friday, September 16.
The registration fee for Family Day 2016 is $25 per person (students and children 6 and under are free). Your registration fee covers a ticket for you and your student to attend the Family Day Picnic and Festival, continental breakfast, all other Family Day activities (excluding the optional activities), Family Day giveaways, and administrative costs.

Your student's account will be charged for your Family Day registration fees. Your student's account needs to be settled to avoid any possible complications with course registration. After completing your Family Day Registration, you will be given two options for payment: "Pay by Credit Card or Echeck" or "Pay Later."Please note that the charges for your Family Day registration will not appear on your student's account until the next business day. However, you can still make a payment for the registration and settle your student's account on the same day you register. Winthrop accepts MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Visa. You will be charged at 2.75% convenience fee if you choose to pay by credit card; there is no charge to pay by electronic check (Echeck).When you click on the "Pay by Credit Card or Echeck" button, you will be taken to the Cashier's Payment Website that will give you more instructions and the link to log in to make a payment. If you choose to pay later, please note that you will still need to make a payment to your student's account at a later date to avoid any issues with course registration.

Behind-the-Scenes Walking Tour Join Walter Hardin for both an informative and humorous behind-the-scenes look into Winthrop’s campus and illustrious history. Tours will leave at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Louise Pettus Archives & Special Collections ExhibitCelebrate South Carolina’s unique history by visiting the Louise Pettus Archives and Special Collections. The Collections, numbering over 1500, have been deposited in the Archives and come from a variety of sources, including the personal papers of many well-known figures. Organizational records include those of the South Carolina home Economics Association, the York County Democratic party, the Episcopal Church Home for Children in York, the Perihelion Club of Rock Hill, and the state branch of the National Organization of Women, among others. Windy Hill Orchard & Cider Mill1860 Black Hwy, York, SC 29745Jump into fall by visiting the Windy Hill Orchard and Cider Mill! With plenty of activities to keep all members of the family entertained, this family owned and operated apple orchard is a great family activity. At Windy Hill you can pick your own apples, enjoy fresh pressed apple cider, fresh made apple products like the hot apple cider doughnut, and award winning Hard Cider. Entry to Windy Hill Orchard is free, but additional costs vary by activity. Legal Remedy Brewery Tour 129 Oakland Ave, Rock Hill, SC 29730Take a tour of the Legal Remedy Brewing Company, a vacant autoshop dealership turned custom craft brewery and brewpub. Get a behind the scenes look at this 11,000 square feet brewery house that uses its 17-barrel brewing system to produce up to 10,000 barrels a year. Participation is free, closed-toed shoes are required, and this activity is for patrons sixteen years of age and older. Historic Brattonsville: Liberty or Death? 1444 Brattonsville Rd, McConnells, SC 29726Liberty or death? The choice is yours. In this interactive tour, participants will learn how people from all walks of life were drawn into the Revolutionary war. Participants will experience life as a Revolutionary war soldier as they march and train as a militia unit, witness a musket firing demonstration, and tour a Revolutionary War battlefield where local Patriots defeated the British. Family members attending Family Day who arrive on Friday, September 30 or choose to stay overnight on Saturday, October 1 will need to make any overnight arrangements.
