Our alumni have found employment not only as professors, principals, and teachers, but as editors, social marketing directors, lawyers, web designers, politicians, podcasters, bankers, technical writers, poets, novelists, video game authors — the possibilities are virtually endless. We're proud that our English majors have repeatedly won the Inez Bell Caskey award for undergraduate research in the humanities; Fulbright grants; and national awards from Sigma Tau Delta, the international English honor society.

Many students and faculty rely on our guide "The Correct Use of Borrowed Information."
