Instructions for Uploading Class Roster Photos into WebCT
 

  1. Go to http://www.winthrop.edu/system/photoid
  2. Enter your Windows user name and password, and click Logon
  3. Select Print PhotoID's for your Course Rosters
  4. Select the course number
  5. Next to Display Images, select as 50% of actual size
  6. Click Submit Request
  7. When your student roster pages opens, click Edit, Select All, and then Edit, Copy.
  8. Open a new blank file in an html editor such as FrontPage, DreamWeaver, or GoLive and select Edit, Paste.
  9. Save the newly created html to your hard drive
  10. Open your WebCT course and create a new content module by clicking Add page or tool under Options: Links.
  11. Under Course Content Tools, click Content Module
  12. Enter an appropriate title such as “Class Photos”
  13. Decide where to show the link to this item
  14. Decide whether you wish to you use the default icon or one of your choosing
  15. Click Add
  16. Click on your newly created content module icon and under Options: Table of Contents, click Add Files.
  17. Click Browse
  18. Under Upload File, click Browse again
  19. Locate the course roster file on your hard drive and click Open
  20. Next to Upload to: select an appropriate folder to upload your file to and click Upload
  21. Click Add Selected
  22. Click Add
  23. If you wish to change the name of the title, you can click Edit Title
  24. Once you have changed the title, click Update
  25. Next, you'll need to update the student view. On the Table of Contents Page under Options: Content Module, click Update Student View
  26. Select Update changes to text, colors, and action menu
  27. Click Update

Your class roster photos should now appear when you click on the photo icon and click on the title of the file.
