Golf Course - 1963

A gift from J.P. Stevens and Company in 1963, the nine-hole course that is marked by rolling hills, long fairways and wooded areas was given to enhance the physical education program at Winthrop. Winthrop students; faculty/staff and their immediate family members; and Eagle Club members at the Coaches level or above may present their appropriate ID cards for free play. Other golfers may play with a $10 daily pass.

There is also a challenging 18-hole disc golf course for public use surrounding the lake and coliseum. That course has been the site of the U.S. and World Disc Golf championships.
