Mission Statement The mission of the Office of Multicultural Student Life is to provide a "more than me" experience for students. Our objective is to make available to the student body opportunities for participation in activities and events that enhance their awareness of diversity, encouraging them to learn more about themselves and others. In support of the strong academic reputation of Winthrop University, the Multicultural Student Life Office complements the classroom experience by offering special programs that bring light to and celebrate campus diversity. While special attention is paid to meeting the needs of the university's minority student population, we are committed to doing our part to enhance the academic, personal, cultural, and social development of the entire Winthrop University community.
