Come out and enjoy Spanglish, a movie that explores how cultures collide when a beautiful Mexican woman and her 12 year-old daughter move in with an affluent Los Angeles family.

As part of our "Real Conversation" series, author Rosie Molinary will discuss her book, Hijas Americanas, which explores such tensions faced by young Latinas as body image, sexuality, and religion.

*A book give-a-way and signing will follow*

FYI: The September issue of Fitness Magazine featured Daisy Fuentes in an interview about body image.  Partnered with that interview was a special report entitled called "Curves in Crisis" which examined the growing incidence of eating disorders among Latinas and African-American women. 

On Friday, September 7th @9:30am EST, The Today Show will interview Daisy Fuentes and Rosie Molinary about these issues...Be sure to tune in!!
