Winthrop students will host an indoor activity day providing fun and educational activities for children.  This is an opportunity for Winthrop students to educate children about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and provide a service to their community in remembrance of his work.

Winthrop Cooperative Campus Ministries (WCCM)

 Dr. Charles Marsh, Professor of Religious and Theological Studies & Director of the Project on Lived Theology at the University of Virginia has been invited to speak on the subject of his recent book The Beloved Community: How Faith Shapes Social Justice, from the Civil Rights Movement to Today.  This lecture will foster beneficial discussion regarding the issues of race, faith, and their intersection in today's society and will be followed by a question-and-answer session as well as a book-signing by Dr. Marsh.
