Purpose of Organization

To promote exchange between students studying
chemistry and the chemical sciences at Winthrop University. To
provide outreach to the community through volunteer projects in schools
and to participate in National Chemistry Week activities this year. |

Description of Organization
|
The Winthrop chapter of Student Affiliates of the American Society was
founded in 1995 to promote exchange between students studying chemistry
and the chemical sciences at Winthrop University. Another goal of this
chapter is to provide outreach to the community through volunteer
projects in schools and to participate in National Chemistry Week
activities each year. |
