Purpose of Organization To foster the ethical aims of the International American Marketing Association; to provide students with marketing career networking opportunities; to expose students to marketing practioner experiences; and to get students involved with marketing service projects for community businesses and organizations.
Description of Organization We are an international collegiate organization that focuses on marketing education and career opportunities for all Winthrop students. Our meetings normaly consist of (1) a organization/project meeting and (2) a guest speaker meeting each month. Our members are encouraged to attend monthly meetings of the Charlotte AMA Professional Chapter in order to network with area marketers for internship and career opportunity purposes. We normally undertake a project each academic year which consists of providing marketing assistance to a local business
