The Symposium Philosophy & Religious Studies Student Club

The Philosophy and Religious Studies Department sponsors a club for its majors, minors, and anyone else interested in philosophy or the academic study of religion.

The club is informal although it does have officers. (Elections are held each Spring for the following Academic Year.) All that is required for membership is occasional attendance at the meetings; there are no dues, no obligations of any kind (beyond an open and inquisitive mind). Those who attend the meetings get to have input on the topics to be discussed and the format of the meetings, including times and places.

If you would like to be a member of the SYMPOSIUM, simply attend a meeting.

Our NEXT MEETING will be FRIDAY, JANUARY 25 at 1pm in Kinard 312.

Announcements of the dates, places, and topics of club meetings are posted on the SYMPOSIUM bulletin board on the 3rd floor of Kinard Hall and on our website:  http://www.birdnest.org/symposium (currently defunct) or here (operational!).
