Meet Rachel Nash -- Sociology Major

I wasn't able to finish my college degree when I was younger but I never lost the desire for a college education. Although I may encounter challenges, the desire to obtain a degree is stronger than any challenge I may face.

Now I'm more than thrilled to be at Winthrop! The New Start program has been beneficial because it helps to know that someone understands what it feels like to be an adult student.

My advice is to enjoy the learning process. Work hard to get an "A" but be mature enough to accept a "C." I can only hope that when you step onto the Winthrop campus you feel the same excitement that I did!
