Feb. 22, 2008
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Students,

Las Vegas" during the many
Homecoming 2008 activities.
The week-long celebration kicks off on Feb. 25 with a
Tip-Off Pep Rally at 7 p.m. in McBryde Hall.
On Feb. 27, the Council of Student Leaders will sponsor a
free showing of the Las Vegas caper film “Ocean’s Thirteen”
in Tillman Auditorium.
The next night, students will
light up the stage in Tillman Auditorium at “A Night at
the Palms,” the Homecoming talent show, at 7 p.m.

Alumni, students, faculty and staff will gather at
a Viva Las Vegas party from
9 a.m. to midnight on Feb. 29 at

Andre 3000 and Big Boi of Outkast.
The fun will continue on March 1
with tailgating and a battle between two conference
heavyweights as the Eagles take on UNC-Asheville at 4 p.m.
at the Winthrop Coliseum. The king and queen will be crowned
at halftime and the 2008 Outstanding Young Alumni award
winner will be recognized.
Many alums also make it a habit to turn out for the NPHC
Step Show, scheduled for 8 p.m. at Byrnes Auditorium.
