Student
Resources
The Language Learning Center is
fully loaded with information technology devices. In addition,
all computers are linked to the Internet. Students are more than
welcome to use them, accompanied by their professors or during
operating hours (posted on the bulletin board). For help,
please ask for assistance from our lab assistants.
Typing in a
foreign language?
All computers in the language lab use Windows XP and are
configured so that students can use foreign language keyboards
or alternative keyboard layouts. If you would like
assistance with typing in a foreign language, please
ask one of the lab assistants while in the lab. If you
would like to type international characters for French,
German, or Spanish, the easiest method is to select the
United States-International Keyboard Layout while
in the Language Lab. If you would like to set up your own computer
in order to type international characters in other
languages, please print the following instructions for
Windows XP:
How to add international characters in Windows XP.
