Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics

This degree program is designed for students who wish to major in mathematics as liberal arts students. Students wishing to pursue careers as mathematics teachers should select either the Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Certification as Secondary School Teacher or the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Certification as Secondary School Teacher program. 

The Bachelor of Arts degree consists of the following coursework.

Required Program: 

  •      MATH 201, 202, 300, 301, 302, 351, 375, 522, 541 (27)  

  •      MAED 200 (1)

  •      Select 9 additional hours from MATH courses numbered above 300 (9)

  •      CSCI 151, 207 (7)
