Tammy Emery Whaley - Director of University Communications at the University of South Carolina Upstate.

Class of 1997

Danielle Dudek - As a FOX5 Atlanta Executive Promotion Producer, Danielle received a Southeast Regional Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement: Television Promotional and Commercial Excellence News Promotion - News Image.

The Southeast Chapter of the National Television Academy presented the 30th Southeast Regional Emmy Awards Saturday June 18th at the Grand Hyatt in Atlanta.

Awarded by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Emmy is the top prize in broadcast news, awarded for excellence.  It honors those who have worked hard to achieve superiority in their craft.

Class of 1998

Erika Martin Harris - Director of Community Relations for Amscot Financial, a retail financial services company headquartered in Tampa, Florida with over 90 branches throughout Central Florida.

Class of 2001

Shannon Greene - Editor of The Enquirer-Herald, which serves York, Clover and Western York County ,a McClatchy newspaper.

Class of 2002

Trent Faris has been promoted to Special Project Producer at WBTV News 3, Charlotte, from the Overnight Photojournalist position. He shoots, edits and writes stories that need in-depth storytelling and production.

Class of 2004

Chris Miller is general sales manager for Cumulus Broadcasting's five-station cluster in Fayetteville, N.C. He is the youngest general sales manager in the company, which owns 367 radio stations. Chris also is engaged to be married.

Class of 2006

Rachel Klahr - Weekend Producer for Fox Charlotte

Mychal Frost became Public Information Coordinator for the Center for Educator Recruitment, Retention and Advancement, which is located on the Winthrop campus, on April 1. He volunteered as a Media Relations Assistant in the Winthrop athletic department for the previous 10 months.

Class of 2007

Alison Rauch is the weekend associate producer at WACH FOX 57 in Columbia, S.C.
