Winthrop University is pleased to offer you the ability to have your student account credit balance deposited directly into your bank account, safely and expediently. Direct deposit is advantageous because:

• You never have to endorse a check or prepare a deposit slip
• You never have to rush to the bank to cash your check
• You never have to stand in long lines at the bank to make a deposit
• You never have to worry about having the check lost or stolen
• You never have to worry about the bank’s daily time cutoff for transactions

I authorize Winthrop University to initiate deposits to my checking account and the banking institution to credit the same to such account. In the event of overpayment to my account, I authorize the University to make an adjusting debit entry to my account up to the amount of overpayment. I have read and understand the Direct Deposit Agreement.

This authorization is to remain in full force and effect until the University has received written notification from me of its termination in such time and in such manner as to afford the University reasonable opportunity to act on it.

I understand I should contact my bank to verify receipt of funds.
