Pell Grant

Federal Pell Grants are awarded to undergraduate students earning a first bachelor's degree who meet the federal government’s eligibility formula. A complete FAFSA must be submitted. Pell Grants range from $400 to $4310 for the 2007-08 school year.

Hours Enrolled: percent of eligibility for the term:
 twelve or more credit hours (full time)  full
 nine to eleven  three-fourths
 six to eight  one-half
 fewer than six  one-fourth

Note:
A student cannot receive a Federal Pell Grant from more than one school for the same period of time.
