Review your award
notice carefully. Most financial aid awards are for the fall
and spring semesters. Half of the funds will be available for
the fall term while the other half is reserved for your spring
term charges. If you plan to enroll for both semesters and your
award is for one term only, please contact the financial aid
office at
finaid@winthrop.edu.
You should indicate your acceptance of the funds on the Accept
Awards screen in Wingspan. If your award includes a grant or
scholarship from a SC program, an Affidavit will appear. Read
this form carefully; click “Accept” if you can agree to all the
terms and return to the Accept Awards screen to finalize the
acceptance of your aid award. If you cannot agree to the terms
of the Affidavit, you should contact the Office of Financial Aid
at

Your award reflects the amount of eligibility you have for
student loans. If you would like a lesser amount, you may
notify the Office of Financial
Aid at
finaid@winthrop.edu or
by calling (803) 323-2189.
Students may not
receive aid from all sources which would exceed the established
cost of attendance.
