2008 Undergraduate/Graduate Research Conference

 

Students and faculty listen to a presentation at the 2008 conferenceThe Department of English sponsored its third annual Undergraduate/Graduate Research Conference on Saturday, February 23, 2008. More than a dozen undergraduate and graduate students from the department presented papers on subjects ranging from Shakespearean drama to rhetoric in contemporary music videos. The luncheon speaker was  Professor Matthew Fike, who spoke on "Hamlet and the Pirates: A Case Study in Jungian Criticism."
