Loyalty Fund Phonathon

Each January and October, more than 70 students from across campus come together for six weeks to be phonathon callers for the Winthrop Loyalty Fund. The Loyalty Fund raises unrestricted money for academic scholarships, faculty awards, and the Winthrop Alumni Association. All money raised during the Loyalty Phonathon directly support the efforts of the Winthrop Loyalty Fund.

The phonathon meets nightly (Monday through Thursday) to call Winthrop alumni and parents. The primary goal is to increase Loyalty Fund participation and connect alumni and parents to current events on Winthrop's campus.

Student callers believe strongly in the university and its mission. In fact, many of our callers are scholarship recipients. Callers not only ask alumni and parents for their support of the Winthrop Loyalty Fund, but the callers also thank them for the excellent education they receive!
