Most of your shopping needs can be satisfied in Rock Hill.
There are several shops and restaurants within walking distance
of the Winthrop campus. Since there is a grocery store, post
office, bank, teller machine, and restaurant all within five
minutes of campus, a bicycle is a good choice for transportation.

the city of Rock Hill in South Carolina's York County.

bus stop in Rock Hill 4.3 miles (6.9 kilometers) from the
Winthrop campus. Winthrop is 11 minutes south of the bus stop

in Charlotte, NC, 1914 N. Tryon Street which is approximately

International Airport* in Charlotte, North
Carolina is the closest major airport to Rock Hill. It is
23.6 miles (37.9 kilometers) and approximately 39 minutes
north of the Winthrop Campus. Direct flights from Europe and

corporate traffic. It has a 5,500 foot paved, lighted runway
for both day and night operations, with Instrument Landing

York County is conveniently located on I-77, a major north/south
interstate highway. We are also serviced by I-85 which intersects
I-77 just twelve miles north of our county line. Major national
