  • Senior biology major Kelly LaRose (Faculty Mentor: Dr. Paula Mitchell) won a cash award for the best undergraduate research presentation at the South Carolina Entomological Society Meeting, October 1-2, 2015. Congratulations, Kelly!
  • Check out this story featuring former undergraduate researcher and McNair Scholar Diamond Melendez (Class of 2015), who is now pursuing a pharmacy degree at the University of Maryland (Baltimore) School of Pharmacy. Keep up the great work, Diamond!
  • Six alumni of Winthrop's Fine Arts program had their artwork installed at the Family Trust Center on White Street in Rock Hill this month (August 2015). The pieces highlight Family Trust's values and historical ties to the textile industry. Check out the story in the Herald.
