ASC Tutor Application

ASC Tutors are required to submit an application as well as have a faculty recommendation, at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and complete an interview with a member of the ASC staff.  Tutors can only provide tutoring for courses in which they have received a B or higher.  All ASC tutors must complete tutor training as a condition of employment, which means enrollment in a LEAD 120F course for their first semester of employment.

Steps to becoming an ASC tutor

  1. Fill out the application below.
  2. Request recommendation(s) from faculty member(s) in your content area using the online form linked at the bottom of this page.
    • If you are tutoring in more than one area (biology and chemistry), you need a recommendation from a faculty member in each of those areas.
  3. Be invited to interview and sign up for an interview time.
  4. If offered a position, enroll in the LEAD102F-001 course.
