Dear Students:

The Search Committee for the next Provost & Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs is continuing its work, and I look forward to announcing the finalists next week.  During the campus visit, each candidate will have scheduled time to present and meet informally with Winthrop stakeholders. So that you can plan to participate, the following dates have been identified for public presentations (with question-and-answer sessions), followed by community receptions:

· Tuesday, March 19, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 pm

· Friday, March 22, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 pm

· Tuesday, March 26, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 pm

· Friday, March 29, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 pm

All presentations will take place in Dina’s Place in the DiGiorgio Campus Center with community receptions at 12:00 p.m. in Dina’s Place lobby. I encourage you to attend.

Along with giving public presentations, the candidates will meet with faculty, staff, administrators, students, and community members in a variety of forums.

Since it will be spring break when we announce the finalists and you may not be checking email, you can look on social media and the university homepage for details if you are interested.  On the Monday that classes start back up, you will receive a message from me inviting you to meet the candidates at the events mentioned above. The communication will provide information about the candidates and a link to a website with more details.
