Dacus Library to Host Art 4 Books Festival Dec. 1

 Local artists and craft makers will sell their work during the event.

ROCK HILL, S.C. - In December, local artists, artisans and craft makers will visit Winthrop's campus to sell their creations and raise money to support Dacus Library during the second Art 4 Books Festival.

The festival will be held Tuesday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. in McBryde Hall. Sale items will include original jewelry, pottery, toys, wooden crafts, handmade children's clothing and baskets, canvas, artwork and much more.

Hosted by the Dacus Library Development Committee, the sale will raise funds to support the library and provide funds for books and materials. The festival also promotes the work of local artists. Tables are available for rent for $20 (fee includes one table and two chairs). The vendor registration deadline is Tuesday, Nov. 24.
