Senior showcase in past years
ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA — Winthrop University’s Department of Theatre and Dance and the UNC-Charlotte Department of Dance have teamed up for a special collaboration at this weekend’s Senior Choreography Showcase.

The showcase will feature the two universities’ work on “The Ox on the Roof: The Nothing-Doing Bar,” a farce about Prohibition-era America scripted by Jean Cocteau and re-imagined by Ann Dils.

But that’s not all that’s in store for the audience this ChristmasVille weekend.

The senior choreography showcase always represents an outstanding display of dazzling original works choreographed by talented dance students at Winthrop. This semester’s choreographers are:

*Bridget O’Connor (Quincy, Massachusetts)
*Kristin Ramirez (Waxhaw, North Carolina)
*Niki Credit (Fort Mill)
*Devon DiFederico (Tampa, Florida)
*Kaila Dockal (York)
*Michael Arrington (Jefferson, South Carolina)
*Mason Diaz (Summerville)
*Dashae Middleton (Rock Hill)
*Dani Cannon (Columbia)
*Kristin Ward (Myrtle Beach)

Assistant Professor of Theatre and Dance Emily Morgan will direct.

Show times are 8 p.m. Dec. 4-5 and 2 p.m. Dec. 6. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 general admission. It is a cultural event.
