GOP Candidate Ben Carson to Appear at Winthrop Coliseum Dec. 2

ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA – Ben Carson will make a stop by Winthrop University on Dec. 2 during a visit to the Palmetto State.

The retired neurosurgeon is a Republican candidate for president of the United States. In addition to his medical career, Carson has authored eight books and sat on the board of directors of numerous entities, including Kellogg Company, Costco Wholesale Corporation, the Academy of Achievement, and is an Emeritus Fellow of the Yale Corporation, the governing body of Yale University.

The Dec. 2 event begins at 2 p.m. at the Winthrop Coliseum, with doors opening at 11 a.m.

General parking will be at the Coliseum. Campus police officers will direct traffic.

The event is free, but tickets are required and are available at eventbrite.com.
