GOP Candidate Carly Fiorina Plans Visit to Winthrop on Sept. 23

ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA – Carly Fiorina will make a stop by Winthrop University on Sept. 23 during a visit to the Palmetto State.

The former Hewlett-Packard CEO is a Republican candidate for president of the United States. After leading the technology company from 1999 to 2005, Fiorina has since focused on serving as chairman of the American Conservative Union Foundation and as chairman of a Christian faith-based organization.

The Sept. 23 event begins at 6 p.m. in McBryde Hall, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. The event is sold out.

General parking will be at the Johnson Hall lot. Campus police officers will direct traffic.
