GOP Candidate Mike Huckabee Featured in Conservative Leadership Project Forum Series

  The hour-long event begins at 11 a.m. in the Richardson Ballroom, DiGiorgio Campus Center, on the Winthrop campus. Doors open at 10:30 a.m.

ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA – The Conservative Leadership Project will host GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee at Winthrop University on Sept. 3 as part of its Presidential Forum Series.

The series will provide conversations with more than a dozen of the contenders seeking the Republican presidential nomination.

Huckabee, former Arkansas governor from 1996-2007, will be the first visitor in the series that will focus on the Constitution, potential U.S. Supreme Court vacancies and law.

The hour-long event begins at 11 a.m. in the Richardson Ballroom, DiGiorgio Campus Center, on the Winthrop campus. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. It is an approved cultural event for Winthrop students.

The forum will be moderated by South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson.

Parking will be near the DiGiorgio Campus Center, 2020 Alumni Drive (Latitude 34 degrees 56’ 27” and Longitude 81 degrees 1” 52.8”). Campus police officers will direct traffic.
