The Civic and Public Engagement minor program invites students to explore the values, ethics, social obligations, and leadership skills of engaged citizenship and to apply this knowledge in real world settings. The minor consists of 18 credit hours, at least six hours must be at the 300-level or above. Students must meet all required course prerequisites.

The Civic and Public Engagement certificate program invites students to explore the values, ethics, social obligations, and leadership skills of engaged citizenship and to apply this knowledge in real world settings. The certificate program consists of 12 credit hours, at least 3 hours must be at the 300-level or above. It is designed to allow students whose programs of study do not allow them to complete a minor. The certificate does not meet the requirement for a minor in BA programs. Students must meet all required course prerequisites.
