Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Finance Option

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration is offered with a finance option in the College of Business.

Minor in Finance

The minor in Finance consists of 15 hours. The required courses are

  • FINC 311 (3) Principles of Finance 
  • FINC 312 (3) Intermediate Corporate Financial Management 
  • FINC 512 (3) Investments 
  • FINC 513 (3) Banking and Financial Service Management 
  • one FINC course above 299
Note: ACCT 280, QMTH 205, and HMXP 102 are pre-requisites for FINC courses above 200. MATH 151 or higher and CSCI 101B are required for QMTH 205.

 

Minor in Financial Planning

The minor in Financial Planning provides the coursework to be eligible to sit for the Certified Financial Planner CPV, Comprehensive Exam. All prerequisites must be met prior to taking each course. The required courses are:
