The Inn at Winthrop

Frequently Asked Questions

The Inn has a total of 12 suites on the third floor of historic Joynes Hall on the campus of Winthrop University. Joynes is one of  Winthrop's finer examples of the Neo-Georgian architectural style. It was the first building on the north side of campus and was originally used as a residence hall for single faculty members. Its namesake was Dr. Edward S. Joynes, charter member of the Board of Trustees and one of the guiding forces behind Winthrop's founding in 1886. The building currently houses the Office of Admissions, Office of University Events, and The Inn at Winthrop.

The Inn at Winthrop is committed to sustainability and to serving as a positive example through sustainable practices.
